Air Force Gen. Paul J. Selva

Air Force Gen. Paul J. Selva became the 10th vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff July 31, 2015. Prior to becoming the nation's second highest-ranking military officer, Selva commanded U.S. Transportation Command. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1980 and has commanded at the squadron, group, wing and headquarter levels. A command pilot, Selva has more than 3,100 flight hours.
